A group of bicyclists recently attended a Williamson County Commission meeting fighting for their access to the roadways . The county commissioners heard from the county attorney regarding the bicycle laws in Williamson County . The bottom line is that bicyclists have the right to use the roadways , but they must follow the rules of the road and must obey all traffic laws . As growth continues in Middle Tennessee , more people means more traffic of cars and trucks . Remember , each city or county may have local laws that govern traffic and safety issues .
