Do Roadside Distractions Cause Accidents ?

Driver distractions like cell phones cause untold car accidents every year . Now , new roadside distractions are being created to grab driver's attention . In Nashville ,Tennessee (TN) , digital billboards are popping up on all the major roadways . The billboard industry maintains that the new digital signs do not impact driver safety . However , traffic safety experts recommend more research to determine whether the signs are more dangerous . It is hard enough to be a safe driver with children in the car . Now , we compete with cell phones , digital billboards and the like . Inattention is the number one reason for car wrecks .
