I posted a report on infant car seats last week . That led me to look at the worst of these seats . The Evenflo Discovery seat is the worst of the worst . While most car seats failed the safety tests , the Evenflow Discovery was cited as the least safe . Cosumer Reports urged a recall on the seats . Over 2.5 million of these seats have been sold nation-wide . The National Highway Traffic Adminstration is investigating reports that these seats come apart from their base during an accident . It is appalling that you rely on these companies for safety products for your children and they cannot pass any of these safety tests . I encourage all parents to inspect their childs car seats and follow any recalls .
