Insurance Companies Overcharge Customers

Well, I knew that insurance companies overcharge their clients and underpay the claims for years , but now there is evidence to support my belief . The Consumer Federation of America reports that insurance companies "methodically overcharge consumers , cut back on coverage and underpay claims". A study released by Consumers Union stated that insurance companies overcharge by an average of $ 870.00 per household . Then , they fight tooth and nail in order to avoid paying a fair claim in a car accident case . Tennessee needs a more powerful law to prevent these abuses in the insurance claim handling process . If you have been the victim of this type of problem contact your state legislator to fix the problem .
