I have been reading a motorcycle report that studied motorcycle accident cause factors and ways to prevent accidents . Two key facts were present . One , most motorcycle riders were without training . 92 % of riders were self-taught or learned from family or friends . Motorcycle training reduces accident involvement and reduces injuries . Second , more than half of the accident-involved motorcycle riders had less than five months experience on the accident motorcycle .
