There are rules for just about everything as it relates to the use of a car, truck or motorcycle on our roads . Pedestrians also have certain rules to follow when using the streets in Tenneessee (TN). If a sidewalk is provided it is unlawful to walk along or upon any adjacent roadway . When there is no sidewalk a pedestrian must walk on the left side facing the opposite lane of traffic . I know this is common sense , but I see lots of folks in my neighborhood walking any which way they please . The purpose is to prevent these type of accident cases .
