Sober Rides for New Years Eve

The local police and the Tennessee Highway Patrol will be out in force tonight to prevent accidents involving drunk drivers . In Rutherford County , police will be conducting a DUI checkpoint on Sam Ridley Parkway in Smyrna , Tennessee . In Nashville , Sherriff Daron Hall is offering sober rides for people bringing in the New Year . Davidson County Sherriff employees will be taking people home from Second and Commerce streets Downtown or they will pick you up if you call 615-862- RIDE. Lets have a safe and Happy New Years Eve and prevent car accidents from Dui drivers .
