Tennessee Holiday Traffic Deaths Down

The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported at least nine people were killed in car or truck accidents in Tennessee over the holiday period . Last year over sixteen people were killed in traffic accidents . In one accident , the driver was not wearing a seat belt . One of the basic safety rules is to always wear your seat belt to prevent serious injuries . It looks like the increased DUI enforcement worked this year as well to keep drunk drivers off the road. I wish all of you a safe and prosperous New Year .
