In my last post , I wrote that you do not always need a lawyer . Last weekend , it drove the point home that sometimes you do need an expert in certain cases . I tried to do some plumbing around the house , but I realized I was in over my head . The same holds true in handling your accident case . Cases in which there are serious injuries need an attorney . There are several reasons why . First , I track jury verdicts to determine what juries are awarding . Second , our office gets involved in handling your subrogation issues . Third , we keep up to date on all new trends that could impact your case . Finally , we have the expertise to try your case or settle your case . Most insurance companies have gone to a computer assisted claims process . One must know the program to get a fair settlement for you and your family . Ther are numerous other reasons why you need an attorney in serious cases , but the main one is to protect you and your legal rights in this difficult process .
