I talked to an attorney from Cleveland , Ohio today who ran across my blog . He asked a simple question about the statute of limitations in Tennessee as it relates to a truck accident case . The statue of limitations refers to when you must file your lawsuit . The time varies from state to state . Under Tennessee law , you have ONE YEAR from the date of the accident to file your truck , car , motorcycle or personal injury lawsuit . If you do not file suit within the year , you are out of luck . So , do not delay until the last minute to to protect your rights .
