Yesterday , Middle Tennessee had some winter weather and snow hit the ground. We also had a serious truck accident case that happened on Interstate 65 in Williamson County ,Tennessee. A three car accident which involved a tractor trailer shut down traffic on I-65 for several hours. No cause has been determined at this time according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol . However , it brings to mind one of the laws of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act . Truck drivers must slow down when they encounter adverse weather such as snow, sleet, fog, and other adverse weather conditions. It is important for all drivers to slow down once any bad weather occurs.
