The Governor of Tennessee and the Tennessee Legislature has severely limited a injured worker's right for fair compensation . The worker' compensation act limits the amount one can recover for the loss of a loved one. Therefore, it is important to look at who caused the injury or death in these accidents.

When an injury or death is caused by the negligence of a third party , the employee is entitled to accept compensation and to pursue a suit for damages againist the third party .This means if you are driving a company truck and you are in a wreck caused by someone else . You can recover damages from another person. You should look at all possible ways to recover from your injury if you are not made whole by the workers compensation laws.
